Between two Italian restaurants

A couple are visiting from out of town and we are doing different cuisines around Houston. Choices are somewhat limited by geography. There are two Italian restaurants that I would like to try. We only have time for one. The two I've narrowed down are Milton's in Rice Village and Mimo on Telephone Road.

I really would appreciate any insight I might receive about either these two or any contrasting experiences.
