Best neighborhoods for Halloween.

So it’s almost that time of the year and I’ve always wanted to know which neighborhoods in Houston are the best for Halloween in terms of decorations and kids actually out trick or treating or did that die in the 90s? It seems like the scene isn’t what it used to be and I want to bring that experience to my daughter that I had as a kid growing up when the streets where filled with costumes. I’m wondering if maybe the heights would be a good area. Any recommendations?
