Best Japanese?

I’m heading to Houston with my 12 year old for 2 days later this week. She’s currently super into anime and manga, which is turning into a love of all things Japanese. Any restaurants we need to hit? We’re traveling 800ish miles for an oncology appointment, so I’m hoping to make feel a little less like a chore and more like a vacation tailored to her. Thanks in advance!
