Beltway 8 toll road quick question

I got a new car a week ago, it has a temporary paper plate on the rear of the car. Presently I don't have a TXtag/EZtag on the car, so when I had to go on the Beltway tonight to make a Hobby Airport pickup I went through the cash lane for the first time in ages only to see a sign that said basically "keep moving drive thru" and lo and behold no actual toll booth there anymore. I look up online just now to see that HCTRA's website says you can pay these "cash" tolls online after the 7-10 days of incurring the toll on their website or they'll mail me a paper bill. Question is —- will my temporary rear paper plate be something I can look up on their site and/or be enough to connect to me and my address to sent a paper bill? I don't wanna risk having a toll violation later. Thanks!
