Bellaire, TX flood risk

Hi community! I'm considering a home near 610 and Bissonnet in Bellaire, TX, very close to Episcopal HS's hockey field and Feld Park. It's in a 100 year flood zone. The house is a 2025 new build, so it is elevated, but the idea of being flooded and trapped or not being able to return home because of flood water is a little unsettling. Any anecdotes of how this area fared during Harvey and other past storms would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows what the City of Bellaire has done to mitigate flooding risks in the area, that would be helpful, too. It's so close to where the 610 starts sloping up to pass over 59 that I wonder if it's forever going to be an area where rainwater pools. Thanks so much for your input!
