Bellaire – Break-ins?

How common are break-ins in Bellaire? We’re on the line between Bellaire and Houston, but still in Bellaire.

Woke up this morning to the wife screaming bloody murder in the house. Ran over and there’s a guy in the garage who got through the back door and was trying to get into the house. Scared him off, and Bellaire PD are driving around looking for him (I got a picture of him).

Anyone in Bellaire have a sense of the frequency of these types of things? I understood Bellaire to be a fairly safe place.
