Be Careful Leaving Gun Ranges

Hi everyone,

I, 21 M, was recently at Aegis Arms indoor shooting range at the corner of the beltway and Cullen testing out my first and newly bought firearm. When I left I had my handgun and range gear placed in my bag (gun was secured in a case) and placed the bag on my back seat. I then left to go to a nearby gas station to use the restroom and grab a quick bite to eat. I was there no longer than 5 min and returned to my back window being busted and the backpack gone. I immediately called the cops and reported the gun stolen. I understand that this situation likely occurred due to my own naivety, so I wanted to warn all range goers to be careful and make sure no one is following you and be aware that cars in the parking aren’t missing any of their plates. After reviewing footage at the gas station I learned that it was carried out by 2 suspects. One was the driver of a gray sedan and the other broke the windows to steal the bag, all done in under 30 seconds.
