BBVA reveals locations of 15 new branches planned in Texas, with 8 in Houston area

BBVA USA plans to open 15 new branches across Texas, including eight in the Houston area, the bank announced June 30.

The Alabama State Banking Department approved the branches in May, but BBVA could not provide more information about them until they were approved by the Federal Reserve Bank. BBVA USA is based in Birmingham, Alabama, but BBVA USA Bancshares Inc., the bank’s holding company, is based in Houston.
