Bayou Restaurant on actual Bayou

Hey All – my husband grew up in Orange/Part Arthur area and hasn't been back since he was a child.

We will be back in April and I want to find a restaurant he remembers from childhood, if possible. This is a good place to start I suppose..

There was a bayou restaurant on the water with a dark wooden building that looked out over the water. You could see alligators and turtles in the water and the restaurant was pretty great.

Is there something like this that anyone can recommend?

We want the full Bobby Bouchet experience. 😉
