Baseball fans lead with their emotions [rant]

Honestly guys the past 2 years has shown me how baseball fans don’t use their brains. The foundation is the scandal. I’ve seen People compare our boys to Hitler and acting like stealing signs is a human rights violation. But even the analytics say the trash cans weren’t that big of a factor. And then in the same report, there was no cheating found in ‘19 so kill the buzzer talk (don’t get me started on The Jankees).

Everybody’s numbers were down in 2020 but everybody only talks asked The Astros.

We get to October and for no legit reason people think a franchise that hasn’t won a playoff game since Bush was president was going to sweep a team with 3 consecutive ALCS appearances. Then The ALDS, if people actually watched our games vs Oakland they’d know we only lost those games bc the whole “runner in scoring position in extra innings”. Serves us right for dropping 33 runs in 4 games on em.

The ALCS was really all about what Tampa was doing and for us to almost come back from down 3-0 was amazing tbh. Helluva run.

And now we’re here in 2021. Everybody’s making their predictions about the AL West. The main excuse people have for us is “ThEy LoSt SpRiNgEr”. This isn’t even a prove the haters wrong rally cry, all the pieces The A’s lost and Angels failed to gain, nobody can give me a legit reason why any of them will win the AL West. We got a legit lineup 1-9, young pitching that will continue to grow, and none of fish boy’s fans can stop us.
