Barbie Robinson named new director of Harris County Public Health

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — County Judge Lina Hidalgo announced that Barbie Robinson will serve as the new Harris County Public Health director.

Robinson, MPP, JD, CHC, replaces Dr. Umair Shah, who announced in November that he was taking a position as Secretary of Health for the state of Washington.
