bar/nightlife recommendations for young adults

I (M23) just moved back to Houston after graduating college, living here as an adult for the first time, and I’m struggling with meeting people my age. Very different situation than being in a college town where every bar or club is packed with 20-somethings.

Just figured I’d ask here for recommendations! Doesn’t necessarily have to be a bar or a club, just a public place to make friends and hang out!

Preferably somewhere north of downtown, and more on the chiller side.
