Baby delivery cost at Texas Children’s downtown (TMC)

Hello,

Preparing for me and my wife’s first baby, due in a few months. We are trying to compare hospitals so we can decide where to go. Please let me know if you have had a good experience at Texas Children’s, or the Woman’s hospital, or Memorial Hermann downtown.

We’re also looking at costs and would ideally like to do it at the least expensive place. If you feel comfortable sharing, it would be really helpful to know how much your delivery cost ended up being. I’ve called all three hospitals but none of them are willing to give a cost estimate until after I schedule an appointment, which is super unhelpful.
