Avoid HGreg Dealership at all costs!! Dishonest and shady dealership

Pay attention to their 1 star reviews on their Google page!! Before I bought my car, the agreement between me and the salesperson was no warranty included. But when I got to the financing office, the finance manager kept adding it anyway. Every time I told her I didn’t want it, she would rip up the paperwork in front of me and print out new versions. I kept saying over and over that I didn’t want any warranty, and instead of just removing it, she eventually handed me a new paper where she changed the name to “service contract” and never explained what that meant.

On top of that, she was incredibly rude. I had questions during the process like any normal person would, and multiple times she hit me with, “What do you NOT understand?” Super condescending and unnecessary. I was trying to be respectful and ask questions, and she made me feel dumb for doing so.

Fast forward a couple months later, I find out I’ve been charged almost 5,00 for a service contract that I never agreed to. I go back to the dealership, and the moment I speak to the receptionist, she immediately grabs a form for me to fill out a removal request without saying a word. So clearly they’re used to people coming in with this same issue.

Then the manager comes out, and instead of actually helping, he just keeps blaming me, saying I need to take accountability because I signed the paper. I told him straight up, I made it very clear that I didn’t want any additional contracts or warranties, and she knew that. She chose to keep pushing it anyway and gave me something I didn’t agree to or understand. He still refused to take any responsibility and just kept flipping it back on me.

I also told him I had been trying to call the dealership for weeks, and every time I’d call, they’d transfer me before I could even finish talking and send me straight to voicemail. When I brought that up, he said, “Well why didn’t you just come in?” Like what? I work during the day and aren’t you supposed to be reachable by phone?

This place is shady and dishonest. I don’t even want to step foot in that dealership again. If you’re thinking about going here, protect yourself and record everything. Don’t let them take advantage of you like they did me.
