An amendment to House Bill 1540 was added by Rep. John Metcalf, R-Conroe.

In addition to seasonal celebrations, an art show and a musical are scheduled this weekend in The Woodlands.

The facility, which also includes a lounge and smoothie bar, will open June 3.

House Bill 1540 passed the House and was sent to a Senate committee May 8.

The location is the second Memorial Hermann GoHealth location to open in The Woodlands area this year.

The Woodlands area welcomes two new coffee shops, two place to get dessert and a new Indian restaurant.

Incumbents won two of the three races on May 6.
