Here’s every player in the Wild Card Era (1995-) who had an OPS of 1.000 in both the LDS and LCS (minimum 10 ABs per round) and who played in the World Series that year. Of the 26 players listed, 4 managed to OPS over 1.000 in the World Series (2 more were dangerously close). More than half of them (14 of 26) had a below-average OPS in the World Series (average WS OPS over this time is .712).
