Hey y'all since my gf and close friends are gonna be out of town this New Year's Eve I'm gonna be spending it alone but I would still like to spend it in a public place amongst other people even if it's just to take in the ambiance. Do you guys have any suggestion on where I could go?

Hey y'all I'm interested in joining a group of people that regularly meet to discusses ideas and/or philosophy. Nothing too serious, just folks meeting up to discuss a particular topic or a particular work. I've already check on meetup.com and wasn't able to find anything.
