LOST PHONE (Help)
Hey Houston! Around 5 or so days ago I was in the downtown area with my family around 9pm taking photos with all the light displays enjoying the moment
At some point in time, I placed my phone down to take photos and was too busy, caught up in the moment to notice it gone. My family was still in the area when I did, and tracked it near the Smith St, Walker St, around the City of Houston Human Resources building before it died from battery loss. I asked a woman taking photos with her family if she’d seen a lost phone when I started looking for it, and she claimed a old man was waving a phone around asking if anyone had lost it.
Later, once we started tracking it, we believe this homeless man had it but he refused to speak to us when we asked, it hasn’t been charged since and I’m hoping maybe someone on Reddit must’ve seen it
-it contained a lot of familial photos, photos of my child, none of which I had backed up into Google, and the thought of losing them all has gotten me very emotional since then.
It was a Motorola phone, clear case, and had ads on the screen from this app because it’d occasionally give me giftcards with enough points saved up.
It was also password protected, and the truth is, there’s nothing in there worth snatching because I also happen to be a broke college student
