Should I call 911?

There's a car on the shoulder before exit 126b Geenbriar with its hazard lights on , dude's inside with all his windows down and might be sleeping, one back window looks smashed but the rest of the car is fine. Is that 911-worthy, or should I c…

"Old" Chuck E Cheese, "New" Chuck E Cheese, and Discovery Zone

I asked this on the Kingwood sub, but it doesn’t get much traffic.

I know it’s so ridiculous, but it’s a question I feel the need ask. My family moved away from Kingwood back in very early 2002 when I was still in grade school. I have memories of living in Kingwood, but being a kid, well, my memory isn’t the most reliable.

So, starting with Discovery Zone- I remember there was one in Humble. It later got shut down and turned into an Office Depot. Is that correct? I visited the building and realized that it was right next to “one” of the Chuck E Cheeses, which leads me to my next question:

Was there an “old” Chuck E Cheese? I remember growing up with “two” Chuck E Cheeses. Old CEC had all the animatronics on stage (I think), the coins had Chuckie with the top hat and whiskers even though by that time in commercials he was wearing the backwards cap and looking all 90s. Then there was “new” Chuck E Cheese where things were a little more updated and only Chuckie, not the whole band was on stage. One of those locations had to be th Humble one (which again, opened next door to the old DZ?). But why would there be another updated one so close? I’d wager that they might’ve remodeled the same location before I left (CEC started bringing out a new look in 2002, I think) but I’d like to see if maybe there was another location first. I do remember as kids we tried to figure out if someone was having their bday at “old” or “new” CEC, so they seemed to exist at the same time

Has anyone seen a big, lit up truck blasting banda music?

I’m not annoyed by it, I was just surprised because I’ve never heard anything like that going on at 11:30pm. I just heard really loud banda music (the music from Mexico with all the brass instruments) from the side of my house. I went to the window to see, but a tree was in the way. There was what looked like lights, but it was so long it had to have been a parade float or a limo or something. I’m sure I could find out on Nextdoor, but I deleted it because my neighbors are crazy lol

I’m just so curious as to what that was and if it was for a special occasion or if someone decided to just roll through a quiet neighborhood with club level speakers

Does anyone remember that drive in movie theater somewhere outside the city?

I know there’s one in between here and Dallas, but that one’s pretty far and not the one. All I know is that back in 2006 my family drove maybe 45 minutes outside of Houston to go watch Over the Hedge of all things. It was so much like the drive ins I’d seen in movies- you had to use your radio to listen to the movie and there was a concession stand in the back that I didn’t get to visit, but they really seemed to want to give the place a 50s vibe

I’m assuming it’s gone, but I’d love to know what it was called/what happened to it
