I'm trying to get an allergy test in Houston (the one with multiple pricks) and don't have insurance. I'm calling around to different places and finding that the test itself costs like $400-$500 (which is OK) and the "doctor consultation" is $200-$300. Is there any facility where I can just get the test done and see the results without having to talk to a doctor and having to pay a consolation fee?

How much did you pay? I keep trying to compare prices online but most places won't give you a price unless you go in and get a checkup - which is BS because my wife and I went in for a checkup at Lasik Vision and got the exact same prices so obviously the price of the test doesn't depend on the quality of your eyes.

I was given a price of $1.9K per eye at Lasik Vision which is pretty good but I'm wondering if there are any better deals out there. Has anyone gotten a quote from Mann Eye recently?
