Read MoreSo it’s open enrollment on healthcare.gov and I’m thinking of getting pregnant for the first time next year so I’m comparing my options. I’m looking into the community health choice select gold plan and it seems like it has my OBGYN in network and also Memorial Hermann in network which is the hospital she delivers at, but since the plan is labeled as a limited network it still makes me kind of nervous to enroll in it given that pregnancy can be so unpredictable and I have no idea what tests will be taken and whether or not EVERYTHING ends up being in network. I like that its a gold plan and the monthly premium is still low compared to many other plans but its just that the network is limited. Like i said, i dont mind sticking with my obgyn and memorial hermann hospital but i still dont know what other expenses could arise which makes me wonder if its worth it. Any advice?

I’m currently looking at health insurance options during special enrollment and one plan I am interested in has some HCA Houston Healthcare hospitals in network. I might be trying to get pregnant soon so I was wondering have you given birth in any of those hospitals? What was your experience like?
