We are thinking of getting box seats (LT/RTBOX) for the Wicked show in June. The pics I found seem all over the place in terms of how good the view is of the stage. Do you guys know if the view is obstructed in the upper box seats in Mezzanine? It's super tempting because it just seems so private with just the 4 seats in the area but want a decent view as well!

We live in a townhome community where the homes are like 2 feet apart in every direction (Galleria area). More than half the homes are airbnbs that have guests pretty much every weekend. Fine, but they're constantly partying Thurs - Fri. Thursday is the worst bc we're always home, and have to work the next day. I mean, I don't wanna be one of these douches complaining on people, but I also don't want to wake up tired for work on Fridays. I don't want to go confront them every time either because A) It's different people every time and B) Don't want trouble with random people @ 1AM.

I'm getting so aggravated, I was thinking of filing a noise complaint with HPD every time. HOA has already sent out reminders regarding noise. Do you all have other suggestions?

I'm looking for some type of guided mediation class or group classes at a location that doesn't push the religious or spiritual aspect of the experience. I keep running into the hippy, spouting nonsense as meditation as a panacea kind of cure places.

Can you all recommend a couple of good places that teach/guide one through various types of meditative practices such as transcendental meditation, mindfulness , breath focus etc.

What's a reasonable price to pay to get a basic deadbolt put in for 4 exterior doors (not including hardware)? Any suggestions for good companies you guys have worked with?

I'm in the loop btw. I expected to see prices on some these websites but random locksmiths are calling me back after I submit my info. A little lost how this works..I guess they contract it all out.

Is it just me or are more people running red lights after Covid? It's like people don't give a s**t anymore. I saw some dude honking and pissed at someone in Front of him that didn't make a left on a red light. This is in and around the loop btw. Not sure about the burbs

We usually go to the Improv in the MarqE center off 610 / I10. Anyone know of other good spots? Thinking of checking out Rudyards pretty soon. I'm surprised there are not more impov spots, but maybe I just don't know them.

We like places like Buffalo wild wings and Biggios downtown..maybe Christian's Tailgate? Big places with lots of tvs, casual, non douche. Not a fan of places like Bombshells, Hooters etc...suggestions?

We live right off Post Oak / Hidalgo and regularly have to commute past the Westheimer / Post Oak intersection. What is the deal with people CONSTANTLY running red lights like 10 seconds after it turns red and continuously blocking the intersection??

Ok, I've run my share of red lights but I'm always out of the intersection before the opposite sides have to go. These fools are seeing the intersection blocked and STILL moving forward to block the remaining lanes altogether!

Can't they put a cop there or red light camera up? Is there some #or site I can file a complaint with?
