Read MoreI loved watching Wagner, Lidge, Dotel enter the game knowing 3 outs seals the deal. I don’t feel like anyone recently captured the fans attention like those guys did. Why? submitted by /u/ummmm–no [link] [comments]
Read MoreI’ve been a lifelong Astros fan. I was going to the Astrodome as a 10 year old kid in 1986, I fell asleep listening to the radio on summer nights growing up. I had season tickets on and off from 1995 through 2019. It is my opinion that Justin Verlander is the best pitcher in Astros history. His confidence became infectious and transformed the team in 2017. Even with his injuries, his individual performance coupled with the teams unprecedented success during his stretch here is nothing short of remarkable.
At some point in the (hopefully distant) future, we will look back and be in aww of what we have witnessed.
