Read MoreThis isn’t the focus of the book. Just what I took away from it as a fan of him and the team.
Despite what I had heard, he does actually mention BoB. And even does so in a positive light.
He shared more details about when the players ate lunch with him during his pre draft visit. Interestingly, he mentions them by name. DJ Reader, Hopkins, and Clowny.
He does not like being considered a running quarterback. He feels that it is a soft racism (he uses the term stereotype) against black QBs. He wants to be known as an elite passer

Since they released the October stat(D4 has more touchdowns in October than any other QB since 2017), I was thinking he deserves a new nickname.
And given the lack of offensive performance this season, I’m not feeling particularly generous.
So what I’ve got is…. Pumpkin spice.
What can y’all come up with?

Our speedy WR group goes deep.
If Kenny Stills were a poem, that poem would go so deep that you would have to rehydrate by the time you were done sobbing.
If Randall Cobb were an ocean, that ocean would go so deep that only the light of Deshaun Watson could shine through to the bottom.
If Brandin Cooks were a cave, that cave would go so deep there’d be Chinese food at the end.
If Will Fuller were a Pixar Move, that movie would be so deep, kids would be having existential crisis for the rest of their lives.
If Keke Coutee were a bus, that bus would probably take the wrong route.

All praise to DW4 and his knights of the deep ball. May the King’s Guard, Sir Laremy Tunsil, protect him from the evil doers that would wish him harm.
