Looking for counsel

16 years ago I was blown up by a bomb while in the Marine Corps. At the time I thought it was OK but now I know it destroyed me. I was a Sergeant, Infantry Squad Leader, and a few months away from leaving the Marine Corps when it happened. It was my third deployment.

I want to know why I was not medically retired, as I have met many people who were, with I dare say far less injuries. The Marine Corps discarded me like a piece of trash. The Naval Board of Corrections lied and said I was wounded 3 years earlier than I was, in order to deny me benefits I suppose.

The Naval Board of Corrections says I was wounded in 2003 and since I was in until 2006, I must have been fit for duty. Well, I was not wounded in 2003, I was blown up in 2006, 3 months before my EAS, as is well documented in my about 2ft tall medical records and also the Houston Chronicle, and some other places.

It’s crazy. I’m a 37 year old broken man now still trying to figure it out and scared of confronting the Machine. I hit bottom and I’m coming now though. I’ve heard there is a statute of limitations but you see I’ve been living with this everyday for 16 years.
