Just moved to Houston to be with my girlfriend who moved from Austin. She loves country dancing and Austin has some good spots with big dance floors and a good mix of country with the occasional line dance or hip-hop song.

I want to take her to a country dancing spot around here but can't find anything consistent online. I see Stampede has dance lessons, but I'm not sure if it has an active dance floor as they have a million nightly activities listed on their website. Someone also said to try Whiskey River but online reviews are suggesting it's more like a hip-hop nightclub, which is not quite what we're looking for.

Anyone have recommendations for a nice country dancing spot in the Houston area? Thanks in advance!
