Hello, I am looking to buy a small condo for my son. Should he be the title owner or me? And should either of us put it into an LLC or QRTC?
I’ve heard of those terms but I’m not sure exactly what they mean in terms of real estate. I am not a finance person. (QRPT not QRTC)
This condo will NOT be used as rental or AirBnB. He will be here for at least 5-7 years. I suppose if he moves away after that, he may want to rent it out.
Has anyone gone this route before? Can you tell me your experience and share your knowledge on this? I understand I’m not taking financial advice from the internet, but would still like to get an idea.
