The case against a QB at #1
You’re seeing what we’re all seeing: this team is not a QB away from being competitive. Why waste the #1 pick on a QB when you have no weapons and a terrible OL?
Draft Will Anderson, a weapon with the Brown’s pick, more weapons/OL and a development QB late. Find a free agent holdover QB (Jimmy G, Darnold, Mayfield, Menshew – yes they’re all upgrades) – you’ve got plenty of draft capital to trade up next year.
This team will ruin BY or CJ and we all know it. We lived it with Carr, no line or weapons. Don’t make the same mistake twice.
