Did any one else around 6:50-7:00 pm see blue then alternating blue and orange flashes in the south/southeast sky? Whatever it was it was obscured by cloud cover and illuminating large swaths of the sky from behind them. Technically I was driving through Hitchcock when I saw them but I have to imagine they were visible in Houston as well.

First guess would have just been lightning but the color changing from blue to orange is a first for me. Also the illumination didn't flicker/pulsate like lightning tends to. Instead it was a gradual fade in and fade out. Tried to pull over and get it on camera but of course once I got situated it stopped.
