Good opportunity to hear from some 2022 (D) candidates on Saturday
The University of Houston is hosting the Texas College Dems convention this weekend, and there’s a rally on Saturday that is open to the public, with RSVP. Looks like it will be a good opportunity to hear from several 2022 candidates, including:
Luke Warford – running for the Texas Railroad Commission, nothing to do with railroads anymore, they actually regulate the oil & gas industry
Joe Jaworski – former Mayor of Galveston and grandson of Watergate special prosecutor Leon Jaworski. He is running for Texas Attorney General and is in a run-off (primary run-off election day is May 24th) against Rochelle Garza
Beto O’Rourke – Governor – he is also holding a town hall in Houston earlier in the day
There’s two other public events earlier in the day that you can also RSVP for if they strike your fancy.
