Since the end of last year, I’ve been having sharp pain in my back lower teeth when chewing. I’ve been to my regular dentist and an endodontist where I’ve had x-rays and a CT scan showing nothing than can explain the cause of the pain. I’ve been told my teeth are perfect. Does anyone have any recommendations on who can better diagnose and solve my issue?

When the pain comes on, it is sharp and fast, and it will linger and diffuse to the general area with less severity anywhere for 10-30 minutes. During this period, my teeth become also sensitive to cold temperatures. I only have this issue when eating.

When I first brought this issue up, they suspected I have started grinding my teeth at night and was given a custom occlusal guard to wear at night. I now know for a fact that I do grind my teeth; however, wearing this guard hasn’t improved my issue.

A power surge nuked my old GTX980, and I’m not willing to go through the hell of finding a new one in the current market.

I am willing to drive 50 miles from downtown.

Any news on the driver?

I saw him weaving through traffic at high speed. A minute or two later, traffic halted abruptly. I saw one or two people running around in the HOV lane (I thought some crazies were up to something), then I saw smoke that got thicker and thicker. An 18-wheeler in the 2nd from the left lane was stopped about six cars a head of me with its driver door open, and other drivers were attempting to merge over to the furthest right lanes to bypass. When I got to the accident, I had to move over to the exit lane just a few feet from the wreckage, and I could feel the heat from the flames permeate into my car. Past the wreckage, I saw about three or four vehicles pulled onto the right shoulder. Not sure if they were involved or directly witnessed the accident. I just got home, and I didn’t see anything on the news.
