I rent a house in Canada, I was just curious if it's against the law to tell my landlord I have a lawyer ( when I dont) cause I've been asking them to fix some thing in my house for months now, and I now owe them a month of rent, am I able to tell them " my lawyer said don't pay until they fix what needs to be fixed"
