Recommendations for wooden window repair?

I have a historic home I bought in part because of original features like its wooden windows. I’m looking for someone like George The Sash Guy who can replace damaged wood and fix double hung windows so they work properly. George is the best in town but just fixing stuff in the Heights keeps him 100% busy and he won’t come to the Museum District.

Any recommendations for carpenters or home repair handymen who can work on an old house and fix the windows properly?

Houston real-estate for storage

I’m lost when it comes to commercial real-estate. Googling returns places that seem insanely expensive to me, so I must be doing it wrong.

I’m looking for ~1500 square feet of storage, preferably climate controllable even if I pay utilities myself. Am I down to buying a lot and installing a metal building myself or are there reasonable options and if so how do I find them? Again googling returns businesses that are often hundreds of thousands of dollars.
