I'm looking to work with someone (or some people) on comedy. I don't really care about the format. I've been working on a podcast (on Spotify if you are curious about my style) that I want to turn into some stand up. I've lived in Houston my whole life and my parents are moving back. I haven't had a lease in many, many years. My parents are having all sorts of trouble getting a response from property managers. They will talk once, get their application in (with a fee) and then get another call asking for extra paperwork. Then everything goes silent.

Is this something others experience? It seems with online applications and background checks and it being 2021, this should be a really fast process.
