I am a 24 y/o brown guy living in St. Louis, MO. The gay community here is pretty bleh...not too many gays and minimal diversity. That's why I am super exited to move to HTX this summer!!

Statistically, Houston has a larger selection of guys, but I wanted to know what it is really like being young and gay in Houston. What's the dating scene like? Any suggestions on how to meet other guys? Honestly, I don't care for bars or flings...I would love to go on cute dates and find that special guy :)

Note: Someone recently asked what it's like being gay in HTX from the mature perspective, but I wanted to know more from a younger perspective. Also, here is a 4-year old thread, but it ended up being CA vs. TX and not really answering the post.
