Beyond power plants:

My understanding is that this guts existing EPA regulations and now requires Congress to pass laws with specific limits on specific chemicals in order to regulate emissions.

Beyond EPA:

It guts environmental protection (basically ruling that the EPA cannot issue regulation on anything that it does not have explicit statutory authority on) but does much more. By elevating/codifying the "major questions" doctrine, the decision makes it nearly impossible for agencies to regulate with any confidence, from the EPA to the CDC to OSHA to USDA and FDA. And it throws basically every regulatory decision of the last several decades open to challenge.

Questions:

• Those 2 comments from a reddit thread are up for debate, if any legal scholars want to chime in.

• Where are these power plants? Is this correct?

• What are the specific health impacts of this ruling for people? What are the possible diseases/illnesses that will result from this ruling?

• When do you think these health effects will occur? Over the next year? Next 5?

• Are people living in River Oaks safer than someone living in Third Ward? Does it affect those differently if they're living within 610? Within Beltway 8? East or West of I45?

• Is there any way for average citizens to protect themselves from the harmful effects of this ruling?

Not coconut water.

It's a longer process that requires grating fresh coconut meat, mixing it with hot water, and pressing it through a straining cloth. I don't have the time or energy to do that everyday.

I posted several months ago about inviting possums to my backyard, but someone suggested toads would be much better for insects and would get some for me. I tried to meet up with them but they weren't able to follow through.

I really need toads and lizards for my backyard due to insect problems, and would like to focus on getting toads first. I already have plant pot houses set up for them with water dishes. My backyard is damp and never gets much sunlight, so it'd be a good environment for them. I'd like to get 3-5 all males or all females.

Please let me know if your neighborhood is abundant with them (give me the cross street and zipcode), and what time they're usually out. Or even better, if you wouldn't mind capturing a few. I'm near TMC and would be happy to pick them up curbside. I would like to get them ASAP (by this Sunday at the latest).

My neighbor just paid $120 for a guy to check the compressor voltage on the outside unit and hose down the sides with water. Then he checked the unit in the attic to see if it was dry on the inside (opened up a panel), and stare down the pipe to see if there's a clog. That's it...

Not sure if it's worth doing if it's just that. I see posts in r/homeimprovement and other subs talking about freon leakage checks, cleaning off dust in condensor coils, etc. I don't know if this is the norm.

What company do you use, how much do they charge, how often do they come, and what do they do?

I'm not sure what nonprofit services deliver to them, but if the normal services don't reach them, I'm thinking of grabbing a few friends and dropping off some food to them.

I have a very small non-functional backyard that backs up to the street. I don't plan on using it, nor do I have a pet that'll use it. Due to its position, it gets kinda dark and damp without much sunlight. I fear it'll be attractive to pests especially roaches. Ech. And I prefer not to spray insecticide for multiple reasons.

Considering how awesome opossums are, how can I get one to come live in my backyard? I'd like for it to be its little home where it can be fugly in peace, and eat some bugs while they're at it.
