Houston Food Care Package ideas
I’ve been asked to ship a few food items (some bottled Pluckers wing sauces, Whataburger spicy ketchup, and a few beef jerky varieties from Buc-ee’s) to a friend who recently moved from Houston to the east coast & is missing some of the food options unique to Houston/Texas.
Since I’m already going to visit a couple of different places to put together this care package, I’d like to ask y’all: what else should I include? It’ll ship in a normal USPS (or maybe UPS) package, so I can’t get anything which needs refrigerated or frozen, but I’d be happy to visit other local restaurants, aisles of HEB, etc. if there’s anything else worth adding.
I would prefer to minimize both volume (no bags of Tortilla chips or popcorn) and weight (no 6-packs of local beers) when possible, but if you can think of anything worth shipping to Massachusetts), please let me know! Thanks in advance!
