I need help choosing seats and when/where to buy them for the first time
Hi, if you have a better suggestion where to ask this just let me know. I am not experienced with baseball and have never bought tickets however my brother loves it and I want to surprise him with tickets for his birthday. He’s the only person I know into baseball so I need advice.
I want to see the Texas Rangers(his team) play the Houston Astros at Minute Maid because Houston is the closest destination for us. I was perusing tickets but I really have no idea what kind of seats are okay, or even how you decide the appropriate side. Does where you sit matter a lot? I also wonder what the most reputable place to buy a ticket is, or the cheapest/ fairest priced.
I don’t want to spend a ton but I don’t want the absolute worst seats. The prices seem high right now, and those games are in May. Would it be best to buy now or closer to the game?
I would really appreciate some opinions, resources, or even someone who doesn’t mind helping me decide what to get. I don’t know a reasonable price range, but I do hope I can get something okay for around $50 a chair. Thanks to anyone who can help!
