Stafford will be 33 when the season starts and still brougbt in two 1sts, a 3rd, and a qb. On top of the no trade clause, watson’s price is going to be at least double that How many teams will be willing to give the house for watson? Would watson veto the trade seeing teams give up the house?

With all these cuts and trades made and taking into the account houston is around 18.4m over the cap, the Texans can get their cap room in the range of 34.5m to 38.05m, with a murray trade adding a few more million. If houston can restructure Cooks, they could add 2m-4m and Mercilus trade could add another 7.5m-10.5m. With a cooks restructure and pre 6/1 Merc trade the cap space jumps to anywhere from 45.5m to 48.5m. Free agents to try and retain -fuller -Adams, he had 125 tackles in 2020 he can replace mckinney -Brown -watkins -Conley on a prove it deal -weeks -qvale -rod johnson
