Houston without a car
I’m moving to Houston in a month and don’t have a car or a license (lived in NY so I never needed one). I’m living just south of the med center where I’m working, and have good access to busses and the red line, but I’m still having trouble figuring out how to get places efficiently. For instance, according to Google maps, it’s quicker to walk to the nearest target 2 miles away than it is to take the bus! I’m thinking about getting an ebike for running errands, but I’ve gotten hit by a car once before and I’m not eager to do it again. Any tips?
