Hey folks! I'm a medical student who will be moving to Houston in May to complete my residency. I've been doing some preliminary apartment hunting online, but it has been nearly impossible trying to figure out which buildings are quiet/built well, and which ones have paper-thin walls and lots of noise pollution. Does anyone have any recommendations for places I should look into more? Ones to avoid?

My budget is anywhere from $1300-$2500 for a 1 bedroom. I'm not too interested in having tons of amenities or anything like that. I mainly just want to make sure that I can get a full night's rest on a consistent basis. Ideally looking at places within 15 minutes of the medical center (Rice Village, Museum District, Montrose, Midtown, etc.). Thanks!
