Read MoreIm new to the hurricane region and I am trying to prep as much as I can. (especially electric wise- after facing the winterstorm). I live in north houston/spring for what its worth
1) Historically, how often does the power go out? Is it an every year thing? I know hurricanes pass through almost every year but wasn’t sure if they cause the power to go out for extended time
2) On the more severe hurricanes can you leave the city once it passes through, or are you stuck for 1-2 weeks along with the power
3) Does gasoline empty out fast ( there was no gas during the winter storm after day 1)
4) Any portable generator recommendations?
