I’m from College Station and just moved to the city in August. I went to a show in 2nd Ward this weekend and took the lightrail out there, I have to say I was totally impressed by how modern the train was. I know Houston is a car city, but the public transit options here really aren’t bad and only seem to be getting better. I hope they continue to expand it all over the city and make it an option for everyone, not just people who live close to downtown. As a former suburbanite who’s never lived anywhere with halfway decent public transit optiions, good job Houston.
