Any Suggestions for foster care or rescues?
We have 2 friendly lab/pit mixes who were dumped in our neighborhood. I’ve tried calling all the rescues in all the shelters and nobody can take them because they’re at full capacity at the moment..
The city of Houston basically told me their best chance of getting put in a shelter right now is if I let them back loose on the street and report them as strays. Only at that point will they come and pick them up but they can’t promise when they would come pick them up.
I’ve called multiple private and non profit rescues, BARC, CAP, and Rosenbergs shelters. Any other suggestions?
