I’m an inner looper, but always down to travel for new spots. Currently Roegels is my go-to simply for consistency… it’s always an 8, never a 10, never a 4, always an 8. Love the Pit Room, but it’s up and down. Luling City Market has the best sausage in town, and I’ll take the Pepsi challenge with anyone who says otherwise. If I’m feeling like a drive it’s Corkscrew every time – even Killens takes a back seat to the ‘screw! Gatlin’s still has a good pulled pork sando, but to me the new store killed a lot of the soul and took the moisture right out of the brisket. Love to hear anyone else’s thoughts or ramblings
