I'm 22 (just graduated) and moving to Houston to start working. Currently apartment shopping so I'm looking for a nice but fun neighborhood to meet other young people. I've looked online and theres a lot of debate but the options seem to be

  • Downtown -Midtown -Montrose -Heights

I'm looking to spend about 2 grand on an apartment. What do y'all natives recommend?

PS: I work near the energy corridor/CityCentre. I know the commute sucks but I'm willing to brave it for a bit if it means I can meet people.
