The mod team has zero issues banning Texans fans that talk s**t in the chiefs sub, because it’s understood that its a safe space for extreme homerism. You don’t belong in the chiefs sub.

They think that they will win and we are going to prove them and the national media wrong

Pretty much…..Don’t go talking s**t where you don’t belong.

If you cannot follow the simple rules we have.. You will probably be banned. At the very least I’ll remove the comments.

So last year we got hit by 4chan in the playoff game day thread. It was not a fun day for us as moderators (we are fairly hands off in /r/Texans)

We will be patrolling the game day thread.. But.. Please report any and all comments that don’t meet guidelines.

You can tag a mod in a comment that is particularly in bad taste.

We are prepared to lock the game thread or as a last resort take the subreddit private if it gets out of our control. We hope it doesn’t come to that.

For the most part, moderating this sub is easy, and I feel it is because of the users being relatively decent people.
