Home window tinting in Heights

I’m having issues with temperature consistency inside of my house. The closet at the front of the house is ~5° lower than the thermostat and the bedroom at the back of the house (south-facing windows) is 10°+ higher than the thermostat. Looking around the internet, one possible solution would be to apply tinting film to the south-facing windows in order to block UV rays streaming into the room.

Has anyone done this? Any recommendations for companies that do this in town?
