Props to Nick

Pats of the South structure wise, is something I think will work out in the long run just because thats what Nick has been around his entire career with the Pats, it is impossible for him to change his philosophy of building a football team, after so many successful years in NE.

What Id like to see from Pats influence:

  1. Build elite defense
  2. Good O-Line
  3. Take the pressure off the QB, so Mills doesn’t need to be a hero type qb like Watson was.

Can’t wait for that clown to bring us defensive pieces/draft capital to build a elite defense and overall team.

Nick Caserio Thoughts

Call me crazy, but I think Nick Caserio knows what he’s doing, and if all goes right, I don’t mind trying to be the Pats of the South, however I need to see some results. Thats why I am ready to give Josh McDaniels a chance

Our experience with Pats have been with their crumbs in BOB and Ryan Mallet ect. Maybe, just maybe Nick Caserio is the one we should really have given the chance.

Also another thing, before the draft, I wanted Mills out of desperation of wanting a rookie QB, but I am not going to lie, I was upset Nick picked him so early. (Lol #67 is considered early for us, SCREW YOU BOB) I thought we could get him later and picked up Joseph Ossai instead. However, it was the correct choice, no other rookie could have impacted our roster as much as, especially with how depleted the roster is.

Not saying he’s Nick’s Tom Brady but if his ceiling is lets say someone like Kirk Cousins, I think that would be enough to win for the time being, especially if Nick builds a good overall roster like the Pats have with Tom Brady.

SOUNDS CRAZY BUT IM BACK ON BEING HYPED FOR THE TEXANS. I THINK WE CAN WIN 9 OR MORE GAMES NEXT YEAR AFTER FREE AGENCY AND DRAFT.

AND I HAVEN’T EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE BIDDING WAR FOR DW4 THATS GOING TO HAPPEN AHHHHHH.

IN NICK I TRUST

Culley Thoughts

I don’t know why fans want to fire Culley. He is the perfect coach for us right now. We have no one on this team to look forward to, Culley is a filler until we get some sort of talent that can be coached. I mean you can get Bill Belichick, to coach this roster and we’d still be ass.

Culley is doing exactly what I expected him to. Motivating guys, not to win, but at least showing up jersey each and every week.

I can see Culley having a full season next year with almost the same roster minus a few upgrade pieces to our front lines secondary ect through draft.

And then when we have a top pick, in 2023 with a class consisting of actual first round talent qbs like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, we get a new coach, start fresh with actual talent on our roster.

Just my thoughts. Keep Culley, I don’t see any other coach wanting to be the head coach of this dumpster fire organization.

The Media vs Houston

After repeatedly seeing so many different outlets posting about Watson, one thing is clear, the media is trying to push the narrative about Watson wanting out more than Watson. Time and time again we see players like Justin Reid, Tytus Howard calling cap on Watson wanting out and I do think Watson upset, but not demanding trade worthy upset. But it seems like in a slow news cycle, every major sports outlet repeatedly is making the situation seem worse than it is.

I think in a few weeks when EB is out of the postseason, most likely post super bowl, EB to the Texans will be announced, I would even put money on it, and this whole situation will die down. Would not make any sense for Watson to be gone, with a new coach everyone wanted to see paired up with.

The media is our worst enemy, I mean look at James Harden, all of a sudden we see him out of Houston and the media is praising his passing ability, scoring ability ect.

One more thing, I’m sick and tired of headlines HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM. COME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW DAMMIT.

Updated thoughts on Nick Caserio

When we first initially hired him, I told people to give him a chance and not associate him with the Pats of the south mindset. I think Caserio is going to be a good GM after hearing about his push to get EB even though Cal and the organization didn’t. It was an early reaction from us fans, but I think we have to give him a chance considering the mess we’re in with draft picks and salary cap issues.

However, we have every right to be upset that Cal McNair is a dumbass, who mixes his personal beliefs with the organization. This is not the church, this is the NFL. FIRE JACK EASTERBY.

My Thoughts on Nick Caserio

As it seems a lot of Texans fans are upset with this move. Trying to be Pats 2.0 and still having Easterby is the only reason I’m kind of upset.

If Carerio nails the HC hire, I don’t mind the hire, seeing the cap space mess we are in atm. However, if this hiring leads us to hire Josh McDaniels, it’s game over, we are doomed for mediocrity forever.

Otherwise, I’m optimistic to give Caserio a shot, considering he doesn’t have a lot to work with anyway and is good with negotiating/cap space.

Thoughts? Or who you wanted to see get hired?
