Trying to find a nice person for my cousin, everyone I’ve blind dated her with used her in some way or didn’t feel a connection. She is getting very depressed because she is 21 and hasn’t had much experience in the dating world. And even in the dating world, the ones she’s found are constantly pressuring her sexually, but she’s a virgin and wants a real connection first. She’s a bigger woman, around 260-300, but she’s been working out and getting in shape and is just trying to find something that means more. I just don’t know how to help her build her confidence to put herself out there more.

Does anyone know of like single hangout spots to meet others more organically?

I didn’t think I could possibly become homeless ever in my life, but idk where to go. I’m thinking of running away and never looking back, credit be damned. Any advise Houstonians?

I see so many signs and posts saying, “urgently hiring” or “no one wants to work”. I keep applying and I am rarely to none getting interviews.

I have an Associates degree in Electronics and 15+ years working experience. And the only places that have interviewed are either contract to hire or temporary. I currently have a steady job that isn’t paying enough, and I tell that to the recruiters, but they still offer me some janky position making similar or less than I am now, for temporary??

Is this a joke? I’ve never seen the job market so bad when employers are so “desperate”.
